Amsterdam to ANTWERP (Free Day!)

Trips: Random places we felt like going!

IN AMSTERDAM

In my last post I had to check out early to head back to Antwerp. So this was framed downstairs of my hotel in Amsterdam.

The original letters from the Passenger's and Captain that was on board the RMS Titanic. Wow.
Plus, a menu of the Titanic.

It could be the passenger's last letter to her family.. It's just so sad..

ps. passengers are allowed to send off letters to their love ones during the "cruise"..

We have struck iceberg ...(something) fast come to our assistance.

He's in panic-mode..! And the paper looks burnt....why..? Did someone try to destroy it or something?

I'm really torturing myself trying to read thier handwriting. Right now I'm guessing if the rescue team really spent that much time looking at that piece of paper like I did.

And, as promised, the original menu. Luncheon, From the Grill and Buffet...and Cheese.

After taking shots at that, we head over to the Central Station with our 2 day Amsterdam bagages to return to Antwerp.

I did'nt know Italianese had box take-outs like chinese food. It was prrretty darn delicious and Alot to consume..

Arrived in ANTWERP

OF course we went shopping! While walking around I saw this calendar.. Unicef, main purpose is to help the Shanghai orphan kids buy purchasing it.

I was kinda s-h-o-c-k-e-d.

Who did it look like? hmm.

It did look like her when my sis was younger. Even the hair and nose is the same. o.0

Mom said that there is always two people in the world who look alike, one more fortunate than the other. I don't see why this little girl on the calendar is That unfortunate.. she got to be a worldwide model before she's fourteen. =/ but still, we'd like to help. =) But we can't, due to overload of bagages.

Then we ate more mussels. This was mine.. how 'lucky'.. It's a good thing I was'nt that hungry till I would chow down on it without looking.

Mussels eat crabs. Did'nt know it till that 'fateful' day.

At night we went shopping again, and the toy stores there are NOTHING like the ones here.

Everything is so animated!

The ski-ers, cable cars and the picture below is all combined into one musical 'box'.

The skaters move about randomly. It's so cute! + music.

This musical 'box' is santa's workshop. See that blurry balloon on top of the picture? It moves. Everything moves!! *Getting excited*

There's one like a circus, the acrobats, cyclists and everything are soo adorable, especially when it moves cutishly.

That's all for the free day, one more thing. There's a dog sitting outside Careffour, bigger than my little sister's whole body. My mom thought it was a grey horse. =.=
