Dear Diary,
I never thought that college would still be as fun as the first week. Many of my friends from other colleges guaranteed that I would be bombarded with heavy workloads of assignments which would make me unimaginably stressed and tired. Hence, having no time to socialize and have fun.
Then again, my college life here for the past two weeks was contrary to what they said. The friends that I have made here are bubbly, outgoing and fun to hang out with!
Thank God it’s Friday! Class finished early today so we planned to go bowling at Sunway Pyramid due to WyKeith’s urge to have his ‘revenge’ on me during our last game. We also wanted to see how Julian bowled since he was kind of an expert in Pool. The both of them have the same concept, right? He also didn’t join us in our last bowling game two days ago because he was dating. Well, Tracy did not attend class today because she had food poisoning. So, the three of us, including the excited and petite Jan Ying and Chun Keat decided to bowl again. We wanted entertainment that was exciting yet cheap enough for us to survive the rest of the month.
Bowling with them is definitely an unforgettable experience. Whenever Julian scored nothing or his ball plunged into the bowling alley gutter, we would applaud and shout in excitement. Out of frustration, Jan Ying would do her ‘dance’ if her ball doesn’t hit any pins. I think I developed a sore throat due to consistent bursts of laughter today.
Speaking of ‘consistent bursts of laughter’, I remembered an incident which happened two days ago. The six of us were waiting for the previous class to finish so that we could enter. We were fifteen minutes early so we didn’t really know what to do. Me being the curious one, wanted to check if the waiting room beside it could be used to help evaporate our sweat and help us regain our normal body temperatures that the sun had so graciously increased. Air conditioned rooms always sounds like heaven when you have been walking around SS15 in the scorching sun.
I looked through the glass and noticed it was pitched black. Then, I saw two bodies moving about in the room. Chun Keat thought it was definitely accessible and wanted to go in immediately. I jiggled the door knob vigorously but the door refused to open. He tried opening it too but it was clearly locked. There we were, looking like deranged prisoners that were deprived from our freedom for the past fifty years, couldn’t get the door open to help regain saneness. Amongst our dilemma, Tracy that has just got back from the washroom was surprised at our situation; flung the door open. She asked us what was happening and looked around to find what the problem was.
Both of us stoned for a couple of seconds. We asked her on how in the world did she manage to open it and she said that all that she did was PUSH. I have never felt so ‘blond’ in my life. That resulted to stomach pains which I had later on from laughing too hard. Anyway, that was just one out of the hundreds of funny moments that happened throughout the week.
To speak the truth, it is my first time writing a journal in such sophistication. Then again, it’s something else to what I have experienced for the past six years of blogging online. I could say it helped me increase my way of expressing and to not only depend on smiley emoticons imply my direct facial expressions onto blank pages.
I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the year. Just so you know, I’m smiling right now. These full stops and continuous sentence conjunctions are driving me nuts. Bye dear journal.

F.y.i. This is an assignment.
